We will read promiscuously from a variety of feminist camps including 2nd wave, 3rd wave, pro-sex feminism, anti-porn feminism, womanism, lesbian feminism, M to F transgender rights, the riot grrl movement, third world feminism, radical feminism, post-modernist feminism, women's suffrage, etc. No feminist topic is taboo. Suggested Reading for first meeting: The Feminine Mystique. We will vote on the official first book at the first meeting, so bring suggestions!

The day's festivities will begin with an 11 a.m. rally/meet-up at the San Diego LGBT Community Center (3909 Centre St., Hillcrest) and culminate in an outdoor music and community festival on Ray Street, in front of the Rubber Rose (3812 Ray St., North Park).

Recently featured on inside edition, the morning show and the BBC as a successful model of alternative love-style. She teaches sacred sexuality events here in san diego.
